New round and new opportunities. We look back with satisfaction on the Big Data Expo, which was held three weeks ago now. For us it were two inspiring days full of interesting conversations. Days during which we could catch up with old acquaintances in the field, but during which we could also inform many new interested parties about the possibilities of Big Data integration.
Teamplay
As in many projects, during the Big Data Expo we teamed up with Talend, our technology partner. We shared the booth during the daytime during the exhibition days. And we also enjoyed ourselves outside of opening hours: the entire trade fair crew of Talend and cimt as one team at the table where it turned out that we get along in at least four languages. Languages (t/d) from which you can benefit!
We also got on very well with our neighbors at Cloudera. Is that because we both use Hadoop, or did that excellent barista at their booth have something to do with it…?

We will definitely continue with our events in the coming year and have decided to expand our event portfolio: In addition to breakfast sessions, information afternoons and exhibition activities, 2017 will also see the cimt-Hackathon and an extensive Dutch-German recruiting event.
New round and new opportunities
Speaking of plans, we have an interesting meeting planned for this year. On Thursday, November 24 from 13.00 to 17.00, we will be pleased to inform end users and companies interested in BI and Big Data about the use of Talend in DWH & Big Data environments, or in other words: about the combination of the classic and the new world. In addition, a demo will show what perspectives Big Data integration with Talend can offer.
Practical Information
